Lindsey Mills and the Predators performed with heart, emotion and existent at the FEST9. I can recall the first time I saw Lindsey Mills play at Miami’s Firefly she was nervous it was so cute. I wish I known her songs then so I could have sang along. But I did happen to have my b/w mid-Formant film camera and I was able to capture her performance. I meet her that day and befriended her on myspace. The next time I saw her was at the Naked Lady Park. It was organized by Danny a cool dude that I can never contact. I remember going there by myself and not knowing what to expect. Before the show started we play Frisbee football or something like that and we had a water balloon fright. It was a great time. Then a bunch of acoustic acts played including Lindsey Mills she had a grand performance once again and she play with like in 10 projects that she had. I after the show I gave her the black and white photograph and I remember her saying that she never had one before, it was a grand day. The third time I saw her was at FEST10. I was able to sing along. She had a grand performance once again and she play with like 10 projects that she had. After the show I gave her the b/w silver gelatin photograph from the Firefly and I remember her saying that she never had one before, it was a grand day. The third time I saw her was at FEST9. I was able to sing along. She never looked as beautiful with her Antler custom on and her EMO glasses. I had just gotten to a huge fight with my sister so my emotions were in a fragile state. As she began to play her guitar I couldn’t stop the tears from falling and as she began to sing. She had full control of my senses and me. I was able to see “Body Catch a Body” that she played with the Predators, the band was rocking out and jumping up and down. Hugo the bass player always rocks out. For her last song she played not by herself but with her guitar. This video is such an intimate song that I could personally relate to and it struck a chord aimed straight to my heart or so I felt. I couldn’t resist saying “I’ll do it” after she sang “some one to take off my pants after a long day” I realize the quality of life that could gain from a girl like that. Lindsay Mills and the Predators are one of Florida’s best performers and songwriters in my opinion Check them out on http://lindseymills.bandcamp.com/ or http://www.myspace.com/lindseymillz
